Mountain Ridge Culinary Team Places 4th out of 26 Teams

Mountain Ridge Prostart had our state competition on Tuesday, March 11th. 
Our culinary team placed 4th out of 26 teams!
Competition Team - Grant Ashby, Breanna Billman, Heather Norton, Avery English, & Adeline Johnson
This competition involves students creating a high-end, 3 course meal with no electricity and only two portable burners.
 
Our management team did not place in the top 5 but did an incredible job as well!
Management Team - Vincent Owen, Darlene Andreason, Emma Roberts
This competition involves students creating a business plan for a restaurant and sharing the details of the business plan with the judges.
 
Culinary Menu: 
Appetizer - Marinated Zucchini on Creamy Ricotta with Hazelnuts, Chili Oil, & Mint
Main Dish - Petite Filet Mignon, Mashed Potatoes, Miso Gochujang Rainbow Carrots, Chimichurri, Microgreens
Dessert - Rosemary Lemon Meringue Tart with Strawberry Coulis & Pistachio
