Students in Drawing 1 just finished the charcoal animal eye project. They created detailed charcoal drawings of animal eyes using charcoal, tissue, q-tips, and erasers. There are a bunch more to look at in the Blue hallway, so go check them out!

Congratulations to Mr. Stiles for winning the Outstanding Educator of the Year Award from the Utah PTA! He will be honored at a breakfast held next month at the Davis Convention Center. Way to Rep the Ridge Mr. Stiles!! We are lucky to have you at our school!

At 8 AM on April 19th, your student will be able to view their schedule for the 2024-2025 school year where the core classes they requested have been placed. Students will also be able to see when other classes will be taught, so please take the time to make a plan of what classes to sign up for once Arena Scheduling opens. Click here to see dates.

Last Thursday, the art department took a bus of students to the Springville Museum of Art to see the All-State High School Art Show, which included 7 works from MRHS Students. They had a great time cheering on their classmates and gathering inspiration from other young artists!

Congratulations to the boys wrestling team. As a team they took 6th place.  We had 7 state placers.  Individual state placers are Layne Kleimann who won his second state championship.  Preston Stevens took 3rd place.  Hayden Johnson took 4th place.  Coen Maxwell took 5th place.  Parker Garcia took 6th place.  Jayce Wilbon took 6th place and Jackson Olsen took 6th place.  Congratulations boys!!

Congratulations to the auto kids that competed at Weber State in the annual Auto Tech Competition. The contest format was a little different this year. In November they held a qualifying round where I took 7 students. My top 3 were selected and have worked with Larry Miller Super Ford for the past couple months in preparation for the final round. My 3 were divided into 2 teams with Graham Kingdon and his teammate taking first place in the secondary contest. Congratulations MRHS Auto and Graham!
