Orchestra's Hard Work Pays Off!
The last two weeks have been busy for our orchestra students! Last Wednesday we participated in the Region orchestra festival. All three orchestras put on great performances, and both the Concert Orchestra and Chamber Orchestras got superior ratings from all three judges! Chamber Orchestra qualified to go on to the State Orchestra Festival in May. On Thursday the orchestras and bands headed up to Seattle and Portland to participate in the WorldStrides Festival where we competed with other high school and middle school groups from around the country. Concert Orchestra earned 3rd place in their division. Chamber Orchestra took 1st place in their division and won the award for best orchestra overall! Congratulations to all the orchestra students on their hard work and success this year!
